Drop Targets

The slings fire and the ball flies, but there is nothing to aim at. The slings already ask for points with score.add, and nobody is listening.

Targets that sink

Williams' Vagabond, from October 1962, designed by Steve Kordek, is credited with the first target you hit head on that sinks into the playfield (pinball history at The Strong). Hit it and it's gone. Knock down the whole row for a big award, and the row stands back up.
